Skipping Rocks Lab is an innovative London based start-up whose mission is to make packaging disappear!
Their first product, Ooho, is a natural and biodegradable packaging for liquids made from seaweed extract. It can be used to replace plastic bottles for water and other drinks, or to replace small-form plastic sachets for sauces like ketchup and even for toiletries such as shampoos.
The team are currently working on the commercialisation of Ooho and expect to see in launched in the UK in 2018.
Skipping Rocks Lab has won a number of awards for their developments so far, including most recently the New Plastics Economy Circular Design Challenge, supported by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, HRH The Prince of Wales and funded by Wendy Schmidt.
